Terms of Use

The short version

This is a community site for one Kick channel. You earn points by turning up, and you spend them on things in the rewards section. Points are not money, they cannot be bought, and nothing here is gambling with real currency. One thing here does cost money - VIP on our CS2 5v5 servers, a subscription you can stop at any time. Signing in means you agree to what is below and to the Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. The site carries gambling partner links and runs prize draws. If we find an account belongs to somebody under 18 we close it and delete what we hold, and any balance goes with it.

One account each. A second account is the simplest way to earn twice for being in one place once, so extra accounts are removed and their points are not moved anywhere. An account made to get round a suspension or a ban is the same person: it is suspended, and the connections it was made from are banned, which catches the next one too.

Your Kick and Steam accounts are yours. Linking Kick is how the site knows what you did in chat, and linking Steam is how the game servers know which player is you. Linking an account you do not control, or letting somebody else use yours, ends with both losing access.

Points

They are not money. Points have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred between accounts or exchanged for money. They are a score for taking part in one community.

What they are worth can change. Earning rates, reward prices and achievement bonuses are set by the channel and get adjusted as the community grows. Changes apply from when they are made and do not reach back into points already earned.

Mistakes get corrected. If a reward is priced wrongly, a rate is set wrongly, or a bug pays out points nobody earned, we can take those points back. We do that to the points, not to anything you had already redeemed.

They can expire with the account. Close your account, or ask us to delete it, and the balance goes. There is nothing to pay out because there is no value to pay.

Rewards

Stock is real and limited. Some rewards exist in small numbers or once only. Redeeming holds one while the order is filled; if something goes wrong the points go back to you.

Anything sent through Steam needs a valid trade URL. We cannot deliver an item without one, and we will not chase you for it forever. An order that cannot be delivered is refunded in points.

Delivery is by hand. A person fulfils these, so it is not instant. We do not promise a delivery time.

We can refuse an order. If an order looks like the result of a bug, a duplicate, or an account breaking these rules, we can refuse it and refund the points instead.

Giveaways

Entering costs points. Some giveaways take one entry per person and some take as many tickets as you want to buy, and the page says which before you enter.

Winners are drawn at random from the entries. There is no cash alternative and no second draw because somebody did not reply. If a giveaway is cancelled before it is drawn, every entry is refunded in points.

The 5v5 servers

We run Counter-Strike 2 servers for five-a-side matches, and a public one anybody can join. They are part of this community rather than a separate service, and these rules are what keeps an evening on them worth turning up for. They apply on the public server too, account or no account.

You need a linked Steam account. That is how the server knows which player is you. The other nine see your Discord name both in game and on the site, and it stays on the record of that match. If it cannot be shown in game, they see your Steam name there instead. The account also has to pass a check: at least six months old, 200 hours of CS2 and no VAC or game ban in the last two years. If yours does not, open a ticket on our Discord and a moderator can allow it.

Play the match you accepted. Not turning up at the server, or leaving a match being played, is a dodge. The first in a day costs an hour off the queue and 100 rating; the second, four hours and 250; the third, a day and 500. Dodging on purpose, or again and again, is a ban from the servers of one to three days, and can cost your place on the boards and in the rewards. It is not a punishment for a dropped connection: somebody who comes straight back is not counted, and a match the other nine did not play on without you is not one you left.

What gets you banned. Cheating, or any outside help - cheats, scripts and macros, movement scripts included (bhop scripts, scroll macros, nulls): permanent, the first time. Deliberately ruining a match for your own side - shooting them, blocking them, throwing the round: one day, then three, then fourteen, then permanent. Abuse in chat or voice: a warning, then one day, seven, thirty, then permanent, and hate or threats start at seven days. A name, avatar or graffiti that is offensive, impersonates somebody or is there to provoke: banned until you change it. Dodging on purpose: one day, then three. A second account, or getting round a ban: permanent. Playing on somebody else's account: seven days, then thirty, then permanent. Anything else that breaks these rules is up to the moderator, from a warning to permanent, and the reason is written down.

Each time costs more. What a ban costs depends on what you did before. Each earlier offence of the same kind moves you a step up: those from the last 90 days for griefing, abuse and anything else, 30 days for dodging, a year for playing on somebody else's account, and for good for the ones that are permanent anyway. That is where a moderator starts: for a serious case they can go straight to a higher step. A warning counts the same as a ban, and you are shown yours on the 5v5 page with what the next one would cost. A ban lifted because it was a mistake counts for nothing.

What we can do about it. Moderators can kick you, cancel a match, forgive a dodge or a cooldown, warn you, and ban you for anything from an hour to permanently. A ban is on your Steam account and applies on every server we run. The servers also refuse the connections that Steam account played from, so while a ban lasts it refuses anybody else playing from the same connection too. For a second account or getting round a ban, the connections it was used from on the site can be banned as well, which suspends any other account used from them. The reason is written down and you are shown it, here and by the server as it refuses you.

A ban outlives the account. The record stays after an account is deleted: here and on the servers, on the Steam id and the connections it was seen from, with the anticheat reports it was based on. That is deliberate: a ban you could clear by deleting an account is not a ban, and it still counts toward the next one. It is lifted only by a moderator deciding to. Everything else about you goes - see the Privacy Policy.

Think it was wrong? Say so in the Discord. A person decided it and a person will look again.

The servers are ours to run. They can be down, restarted, or taken away. Your rating, level, XP and the skins you equip on them are a score in a game we run - they are not property, they are worth nothing outside, and they go with the account.

VIP

VIP is a monthly subscription for the 5v5 servers and nothing else on this site. The price is shown before you pay. It renews every month until you stop it.

Paying. Stripe takes the payment on its own page. We never see your card. Stripe asks you for an email address for its receipts, and keeps it.

Stopping it. Manage on your profile, any time, in two clicks. It keeps running to the end of the month you have paid for and then stops. There is no refund of the part of the month you have already had, and because VIP starts the moment you pay, subscribing gives up the 14-day right to cancel for a refund - you are asked to agree to that at the checkout.

If a payment fails. VIP pauses until it goes through. Update the card and it comes straight back; nothing is lost in between.

Other ways to have it. VIP given by the channel counts the same. It is not charged for and it is not affected by anything here.

The VIP badge on Kick is not this. That badge is a role in the Kick channel. It does not include the 5v5 servers, and holding it neither grants this nor is affected by it.

What it includes can change. It is a set of things in a game we are still building, so what is in it will move. If we stop running the servers, renewals stop and anything paid for and not delivered is refunded.

What you must not do

  • Automate anything. Scripts, bots or anything else that earns points without a person being there.
  • Run more than one account, or earn on somebody else's.
  • Spam chat to farm points. Repeated and emote-only messages earn nothing by design, and going further than that is grounds for removal.
  • Exploit a bug rather than report it. Finding one and telling us is welcome; quietly draining it is not.
  • Harass people, in chat or anywhere the site touches.
  • Cheat, grief or abuse people on the game servers. That has its own list, above, because there is more to say about it.
  • Attack the site: scraping it wholesale, hammering the API, or trying to reach data that is not yours.

What we can do

We can warn an account, stop it earning, suspend it, remove points that were not earned, refuse an order, ban it from the game servers, ban the connections it was used from - which suspends any other account used from them - or close an account entirely. For anything other than an obvious exploit we will say why.

We can also change how the site works, add and remove rewards, and change what things cost, without notice. The site is run for a community rather than sold as a service.

Gambling partners

Some pages link to gambling companies and we may be paid when somebody signs up through one. Those are their businesses, not ours. Their terms apply on their sites, their promotions are theirs to honour, and any money you put in is between you and them.

Gambling costs people more than they mean to spend. If it has stopped being fun, stop, and use the tools the operator gives you to limit or block yourself. Nothing on this site is advice to gamble.

Closing your account

Ask in the Discord, or email [email protected], and we will close it. That removes your profile, your links to Discord, Kick and Steam, your points history, your 5v5 matches and rating, and the skins you had equipped on the servers. Any subscription is cancelled and your customer record at Stripe is deleted with it. It cannot be undone. A ban stays, here and on the servers, for the reason above. You can also just stop using it.

Where this ends

The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise it will be available, that a reward will be in stock, or that a points total will never need correcting. We are not liable for anything that follows from using it beyond what the law does not let us exclude.

If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Anything that materially changes what you can do here will be announced in the Discord rather than quietly edited in.
